About Us
Stimulating Climate Change Conversations with Art
Our objective is to encourage budding artist to create art that contributes to climate change awareness and has the potential to lead to innovative global solutions. Our mission is to empower local student artist with a voice to advocate for Earth by providing a digital platform to post and sell their climate change artwork.
Our Organization
We are a non-profit website and store based out of Stevens Point, Wisconsin. The products sold in the store are the property of local student artists and will help offset their media expenses. We believe that potential solutions may be found by tapping into the hidden potential of right-brained thinking.
Creating climate change art contributes to climate change awareness and the art itself has the potential to make a difference. There is a great deal of research on the impact of art on the brain and how using the part of the brain responsible for art can lead to innovative thinking and new approaches that result in solutions not previously considered to solve difficult problems.
There is an opportunity to contribute to overcoming the greatest challenge that society has ever encountered. Giving a voice to art students through their art is the first step. Providing incentives will motivate artists and reimburse media costs. For a minimal investment, at the very least we are initiating conversations and getting budding art students thinking.
Our Team
We are team of locally-based University of Wisconsin Stevens Point graphic design seniors working with a marketing consultant. We all are committed to the environment and consider it an honor to contribute to advocate for Earth by fighting climate change.
