Climate Change Awareness
There is opportunity for all of us to do our part by contributing to climate change awareness. There has been a lot of research into what the problem is, what caused the matter, and how climate change is and will impact our world. Researchers believe that artist’s right-brained thinking provide a unique perspective. This website offers artists an opportunity to be part of the solution. Bringing everyone on board is just what this crisis needs.
There have been worldwide collaborations, like the Paris Climate Accord. Art has been front and center at these collaborations. Participating in global climate change awareness is not only a responsible thing to do, it is an opportunity for artist share their work and has the potential to generate income, develop contacts while they learn about what other artists are doing. We strongly encourage sharing the artist’s process as demonstrated below.
Some artists making a living creating art pertaining to climate change include: David Buckland, Xavier Cortado, Zaria Forman, Antony Gormley, Peter Kennard, Pedro Marzaroti, Nazhia Mestaui, Elsa Munoz, John Sabrow, and Camille Seaman.
The button below provides a link to these artist’s website. As we learn about more climate change artists, the link will be updated. By purchasing student art, you may be opening the door for a budding artist to make a difference by exploring altruistic artwork. It is also very possible, that you are opening the door to a student’s future that will change the world.
This all may sound a little dramatic, but imagine the possibilities that could come by simply encouraging students to expand their parameters and consider that they have a bigger role to play in the future than they may have thought. Please consider using student art in your home or office.
